Ask the people who know the place.
Tisai is a travel guide for iPhone. You ask about a neighborhood the way you would ask a friend, and every answer comes from tips shared by people who live, work and spend their time there. Never from the internet.
Want to know when it opens, or share what you know about your neighborhood? Write to hello@tisai.app.

Real answers, from real people nearby.
Ask anything about the area
Type or talk. Where to eat with kids, where to park, what is open late, what to skip. Choose how far you are willing to go: a walk, or a 20 or 30 minute drive.
Get a short, specific answer
Two or three places, with the details that matter: what to order, when to go, what it costs. Each answer shows how many people vouch for it and where it is on the map.
If nobody knows, Tisai says so
Tisai never invents a place. When no one has covered your question yet, it tells you plainly and asks around for you. Questions nobody can answer are always free.
Two questions free. Then one simple pass.
Your first two answered questions in an area cost nothing. After that, an area pass gives you 72 hours of questions, in the neighborhood and as far around it as you are willing to go.
Most of what you pay goes to the people whose tips answered you. No ads, no sponsored places, and no one can pay to be recommended.
- Ask as much as you like for 72 hours
- Answers only from people who know the area
- 70 percent goes to the people whose tips you used
- Refundable if it does not help. Refund policy
Good to know
Where does Tisai work?
We are starting with one neighborhood, Lawrenceville in Pittsburgh, and the area around it. New areas open when enough people have shared what they know.
How is this different from searching online?
Search gives you the most advertised and most reviewed places. Tisai gives you what people nearby actually tell their friends, and it tells you who is behind each tip: someone who has lived here eight years, a regular visitor, how many people agree.
Can a business pay to be recommended?
No. Owners can share tips like anyone else, but a tip about their own business is labeled as such, and advertisements are declined.
What does Tisai know about me?
Only what you tell it while asking, such as who you are traveling with. It uses that to pick tips that suit you. You can read it and erase it at any time in the app. See the privacy policy.
How do I reach you?
